The Adelaide Fringe is coming to the Para Hills Community Club in 2022, and we are excited to share with you what we have planned.
Our Adelaide Fringe guide offers a wide variety of shows including kid friendly, comedy and tribute shows.
Our entire Adelaide Fringe program is made up of local acts, and we are proud to be giving them a place to put on their show for you.
Here are the shows we will presenting at the Club:
Sunday 20 February & Sunday 20 March – Function Room
The Music Makers band brings their most colourful and exciting family concert experience to the big stage!
Tony Genovese and band will perform hit children’s songs that will have everyone’s hips swinging, toes tapping and body shaking with happiness.
Dress in your best party clothes and prepare to be delighted in the magic of music entertainment! Including the most amazing, interactive and fun, educational games, this is one brilliant non-stop, action-packed, entertainment spectacular!
There will even be several opportunities for audience members to join and perform with the band live on stage. Surprise guest appearances from adorable and hilarious costume characters will have you smiling from ear to ear and rolling in laughter!
Saturday 26 February – Club Bar
The award winning five-piece band will perform the best classic hits and memories from yesteryear. Loads of fun dance routines and dress ups are included.
Reminisce in the good old days when we were blessed with songs such as ‘Sweet Caroline’ and ‘Twist and Shout’.
Magnificent music of the legends in music history performed live by award winning Pulse band. Costume changes, dancing, singing and mingling with the crowd.
You may have seen this band present other well known Shows such as The Desirables Dinner With The Stars, Hits Only Country, Mambo Italiano and Shake Rattle and Roll! Presented in a live band format with guitars, keyboards, bass, drums plus male and female vocals.
Saturday 5 March – Club Bar
House of Ska present MADTONES a tribute to MADNESS Live at the Para Hills Club for their only Fringe Show.
Madness are an English ska band from Camden Town, North London, who formed in 1976. One of the most prominent bands of the late 1970s and early 1980s two-tone ska revival.
For anyone who grew up listening to Madness this is not a show to be missed. Get out your Baggy Trousers and grab a ticket today.
Saturday 5 March – Function room
Join us at the Para Hills Community Club for a 3-course dinner & show, paying tribute to an Aussie Legend – Paul Kelly.
Lee Bridle and Terry Snow will be performing Paul and Dan Kelly’s hits including To Her Door, How to make gravy, before too long, plus many, many more.
With sold out Adelaide Fringe shows, across Adelaide since 2015, this show will be popular.
Saturday 12 March – Club Bar
The Flaming Sambucas present their nationally acclaimed Abba Gold Show. This exciting show takes you on a journey back through those wonderful Abba years of the ‘70’s’. Re-live the songs that fill you with joy and make you want to sing and dance.
With authentic costuming, Adelaide’s iconic Flaming Sambucas perform all the greatest hits of the Swedish supergroup – Waterloo, Ring Ring, Money Money Money, The Winner Takes It All, Fernando, SOS, Thank You For The Music, Dancing Queen and so many more . Presented in an original story telling way – (now with the story coming full circle as Abba reunite in 2021), this show is guaranteed to touch your emotions and leave you with your spirits high.
Wednesday 9 & Sunday 13 March – Function Room
Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he’ll have up-to-date Tinder profile pics forever.
Tinder’s Least Wanted is a lineup of Adelaide’s funniest single comedians who all have one thing in common: they can’t get a date for love nor money (actually probably could get one for money, but they’re comedians so they don’t have any).
Laugh along with the most hilarious stories and one liners from both sides of the dating app fence. Maybe we’ll all find love together. Probably not though.
Saturday 19 March – Club Bar
The QUEENS OF ROCK takes you on a journey through the decades of female rock legends & icons.
Re-live the greatest songs from some of the most influential women of rock including Janis Joplin, Suzi Quatro, Joan Jett, Heart, Pat Benatar, Blondie, Alanis Morissette, Lady Gaga and many more.
The show features the phenomenal voice of Chel-C and an amazing live band, combined with stunning costumes, lighting and video presentations.
