To commemorate 50 years since the official opening of the Para Hills Community Club on the 14th of June 1969 by the then Premier of South Australia, The Honourable Steele Hall MP, the Club Committee will be holding events throughout 2019.
The Para Hills Community Club was formed in 1966 after intensive research by the Para Hills Progress Association. The idea was to provide a complete centre for social, sporting and cultural activities for everybody in Para Hills and the surrounding areas.
The Club would become an ideal place for newcomers to the district to meet people and make new friendships. Over the years the Club has evolved into much more being a source of financial support and physical hands on help to many different sporting Clubs, fundraising ventures, charity’s, schools and Social Groups.
Currently there are over 6,000 financial members and it is certainly The Place to Be to meet with family and friends.
